I’ve been chasing the light trying to take photos of my July Project Life pages. Since the light changed, I can’t find a good place to shoot layout photos. I finally gave up and decided to post these, warts and all. I’m thinking about setting up a light box to resolve these problems. Do you have the same issue? How do you resolve them?
(I admit that it’s kinda hard to take photos when you have a camera hog in the way all of the time.
I really don’t mind because he’s so photogenic. He’s so handsome.)
The first weekend in July we camped at a new place. The weather was nice and not too hot. Little did I know this would be the only time we camped for months!
A mix of photos from the first week in July. I tend to group photos based on theme or color rather than chronologically. The spreads feel more cohesive that way. It’s hard to stay away from color with all the bright blue sky and colorful flowers. This spread uses Blinks of Life cards.
A mix of supplies but the cards are Blinks of Life.
My first spread with the Cocoa Daisy Day in the Life September kit. I signed up for three months to try it out. I love the little splashes of color in this kit.
While I tend to focus on pocket scrapbooking for most of my pages, I do like to add the occasional traditional spread. In this case I wanted to focus on Orion’s accomplishment of getting in to college as a high school student. (I didn’t pre-write my journaling, I just wrote from the heart. It’s hard to type so forgive the typos and mistakes.) this littel 8 x 6 spread fits in to a Becky Higgins page protector and lines up perfectly with my 9 x 12 album. I used the whimsical stamp set from the Cocoa Daisy Day in the Life September kit for this one, too.
It’s hard to believe but this is my first Saturday waking up at home in four weeks. We camped the last three and as much fun as it was, I’m so happy to be home!
Saturday and Sunday are scrapbooking days for me. It’s time to start on August.
